Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray’-key) is an alternative form of therapy that complements any type of medical care. An ancient form of energy medicine, Reiki is used in hospitals and clinics around the world.

The Japanese word Reiki means “Universal Life Force Energy” or spiritually-guided life force energy. We are all born with Reiki energy but we have forgotten how to access it. Melissa is a Reiki-Master practitioner attuned to the Reiki energy who can help you reconnect with this amplified energy through a gentle, relaxing technique.

Reiki is not a religion or a belief system. Rather, it is a method of working with our vibrational being, higher wisdom and cosmic forces to bring about changes in the mental, emotional and physical bodies. Reiki energy works in alignment with individual needs. As a result, the effects of Reiki therapy are as diverse as the beings on this planet.

Reiki is now practiced widely in both medical and non-medical fields around the world. While it is not a substitute for regular medical care, it provides a perfect complement to traditional medical practices.

Reiki Therapy Sessions:

By treating yourself to a Reiki therapy session, you receive a full-body alignment with Reiki energy. Reiki energy works with your higher wisdom (inner knowing) to identify what, where and how much retuning, cleansing and adjustment are needed within your mental, emotional and/or physical bodies.

Each session begins with a brief discussion of issues and concerns followed by a Reiki treatment tailored to your needs for the purpose of balancing the body’s energy centers (chakras / meridians) and clearing physical, mental and emotional energetic patterns that are no longer needed. The session concludes with a sharing of experiences and any intuitive messages and guidance Melissa received during the process.
